class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>La r\u00e9serve naturelle de l&rsquo;estuaire du Tage (RNET) est constitu\u00e9e d&rsquo;environ deux tiers des eaux estuariennes et couvre le territoire des municipalit\u00e9s d&rsquo;Alcochete, Benavente et Vila Franca de Xira.<\/p><p><strong>Zones prot\u00e9g\u00e9es<\/strong><\/p><p>De sa source en Espagne, dans la Sierra de Albarracin, \u00e0 son embouchure pr\u00e8s de Lisbonne, le Tage s&rsquo;\u00e9tend sur 1 100 kilom\u00e8tres, ce qui en fait le plus grand fleuve \u00e0 traverser le Portugal.<\/p><p>La r\u00e9serve naturelle de l&rsquo;estuaire du Tage couvre une superficie de<strong> 14 416,21 ha, <\/strong>qui comprend une vaste zone d&rsquo;eaux estuariennes, de vasi\u00e8res creus\u00e9es par des citernes, de mouch\u00f5es, de marais salants et de terres agricoles alluviales (lez\u00edrias). R\u00e9gion tr\u00e8s productive en polych\u00e8tes, mollusques et crustac\u00e9s, c&rsquo;est une v\u00e9ritable maternit\u00e9 pour diverses esp\u00e8ces de poissons, comme la sole et le bar. Parmi les esp\u00e8ces s\u00e9dentaires typiques des estuaires, le grondin de sable et la crevette grise se distinguent. Pour les poissons migrateurs comme la lamproie, le savelha et l&rsquo;anguille, le Tage est un lieu de transition entre le milieu marin et le milieu fluvial.   <\/p><p>Cependant, c&rsquo;est l&rsquo;avifaune aquatique qui conf\u00e8re \u00e0 l&rsquo;estuaire du Tage le statut de zone humide la plus importante du pays et l&rsquo;une des plus importantes d&rsquo;Europe. En effet, le nombre d&rsquo;esp\u00e8ces hivernantes atteint environ 120 000 individus. Des comptages r\u00e9guliers indiquent que plus de 10 000 anatid\u00e9s et 50 000 \u00e9chassiers hivernent dans cette r\u00e9serve naturelle, dont le plus remarquable est l&rsquo;avocette <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.icnf.pt\/api\/file\/doc\/0bbb47bb91004fac\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Recurvirostra avosetta<\/a>.<\/em><\/strong> De nombreuses autres esp\u00e8ces t\u00e9moignent \u00e9galement de la richesse biologique et de la valeur de conservation de la nature de cette r\u00e9gion, notamment le flamant rose <a class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>La rivi\u00e8re Sorraia est une rivi\u00e8re portugaise qui prend sa source dans la paroisse de Cou\u00e7o et r\u00e9sulte de la jonction de deux cours d&rsquo;eau, la rivi\u00e8re Sor et la rivi\u00e8re Raia. C&rsquo;est l&rsquo;affluent du Tage qui poss\u00e8de le plus grand bassin hydrographique (7730 km\u00b2), recevant plusieurs cours d&rsquo;eau le long de son parcours, les principaux \u00e9tant les cours d&rsquo;eau Erra, Divor et Juliano, et pr\u00e8s de Porto Alto, il re\u00e7oit la rivi\u00e8re Almansor.<\/p><p>Au fil des si\u00e8cles, elle a jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le vital pour la r\u00e9gion, et l&rsquo;histoire nous apprend que les Romains et les Arabes se sont install\u00e9s ici, utilisant son eau pour les champs agricoles et comme moyen de communication, afin d&rsquo;exporter les produits cultiv\u00e9s dans les terres fertiles de la vall\u00e9e de Sorraia, o\u00f9 ils ont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 d&rsquo;ing\u00e9nieux syst\u00e8mes d&rsquo;irrigation qui sont toujours en usage.<\/p><p>Le Sorraia traverse les villes de Coruche et Benavente et se jette dans le Tage \u00e0 Ponta da Erva, pr\u00e8s de Vila Franca, apr\u00e8s avoir parcouru environ 155 kilom\u00e8tres. Le fleuve est navigable par de petites embarcations sur certains itin\u00e9raires, mais jusqu&rsquo;au d\u00e9but du XXe si\u00e8cle, il \u00e9tait enti\u00e8rement navigable, ayant connu un important trafic fluvial pour le transport de produits agricoles et forestiers, \u00e0 savoir le li\u00e8ge, le bois et les c\u00e9r\u00e9ales. <\/p><p>Dans la seconde moiti\u00e9 du XXe si\u00e8cle, le plan d&rsquo;irrigation de la vall\u00e9e de Sorraia a \u00e9t\u00e9 mis en \u0153uvre avec la construction des barrages de Montargil et de Maranh\u00e3o, ainsi que du canal de Sorraia, dans le but de mieux utiliser les ressources en eau pour augmenter le rendement agricole de la r\u00e9gion, un objectif qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 Novas, Canha et Santo Est\u00eav\u00e3o.<\/p><p>La rivi\u00e8re Almansor est accessible depuis la V\u00e1rzea grande de Samora Correia, en passant par les foss\u00e9s, la zone de Silveiras, Pombalinho, la zone riveraine de Samora Correia jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 Porto Alto. \u00c0 cet endroit, la rivi\u00e8re Almansor rejoint le lit de la rivi\u00e8re Sorraia, un affluent du Tage au bassin
