The Municipality of Benavente was on RTP’s “Praça da Alegria” program today, with the aim of spreading some of Ribatejo’s traditions related to the campino, his work and participation in traditional festivals. The municipality invited Isabel Costa, a craftswoman, to make pine cone socks live, precisely the socks worn by Campinos.
The artist from Benavente, Xana Carvalho, sang and enchanted, showed her new work “Leva-me ao Limite” and also gave good references about Benavente and its potential.
