Benavente Municipality’s strong presence at the 44th National Gastronomy Festival in Santarém

Benavente’s Municipal Day, celebrated at the National Gastronomy Festival in Santarém, was a real success. The participation stood out for its energy, flavor and Ribatejo pride. The moment of live cooking with Chef Eduardo Duarte, who made a delicious rice pudding with carolino from the Ribatejo lezírias, delighted the audience, combining tradition and gastronomic innovation.

The Disclosure and Promotion of the Tourist Offer and Regional Products area featured Quinta Biológica de Santo Estêvão, Doces da Natália and Apiriba/Global Sweet, as well as the Turismo Benavente stand, where you could taste irresistible sweets made with our carolino.

This participation reinforced the strong identity and quality of the municipality, promoting the best of Benavente’s gastronomy, local products and spirit.
