Recently inaugurated, the Benavente Municipal Tourist Office welcomed the first pilgrim to Santiago de Compostela today. He’s French, from Lyon, his name is Jean-François, he’s 67 and he’s been walking for two weeks, from Faro.
In this new tourist reception area, the first passage of a pilgrim from Santiago will be marked in a very positive way.
